Some capitalised words in this summary mean the following:

- Term means a term of study at QED Education (9 weeks) during a regular school year.
By enrolling for a term of study or trialling at QED Education, you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read the Full Terms outlined below carefully and contact QED Education by phone or in person at L1 269 Church St Parramatta if you have any questions or concerns.
We provide quality tuition services in Years 7 – 12 English and Mathematics to help our students improve at school and ultimately to be in good stead for success in the Higher School Certificate. These services may be provided at our physical campuses or online via an appropriate platform such as Zoom. QED Education reserves the right to alter the form of service delivery at any time if management deems it necessary.
The conditions for the different courses (such as Year 7 English and Year 11 Mathematics) are generally the same, and relate to things such as tuition fees, access to additional tuition services, behaviour and attendance expectations, subject and class selection, course inclusions and other parent/student commitments as part of enrolment. If you change your enrolment during the Service Period (for example taking on an additional subject, or altering your enrolment such that a promotion no longer applies,) you may be required to pay additional fees.
You may pay for your Enrolment Fees either by cash, or by bank transfer. Payment details are located on the invoice, and cash payments can be made to QED Education reception at L1 269 Church St Parramatta. Fees must be paid in full to be considered paid, partial payments are not accepted. Note that enrolment at QED Education is only confirmed once term fees are paid in full, there are no exceptions to this unless specifically approved by management.
FEES AND TRIAL PERIODS
All new students to QED Education are entitled to a TWO WEEK OBLIGATION FREE TRIAL. If a student DOES NOT CONTINUE after the two week period, they will not be required to pay any fees. If a student DOES CONTINUE, the trial period will be billable at the normal rate and will be included in the invoice. Students who commence tuition after the first week of term will only be billed for the weeks they are enrolled (commencing on their first trial lesson.) Special notes on various promotional programs: QED Education may offer a range of discount policies at various points in the year, we will detail here the terms and conditions of the different programs.
Please note that all promotional programs will be discounted off the next issued invoice. If your invoice has already been submitted for the term, it will come off the following term’s invoice. Under no circumstances does QED Education reissue invoices to apply discounts.
$50 OFF (SUGGEST A FRIEND): The ‘Suggest a Friend’ program entails an existing student recommending three friends to QED Education via use of the form qededucation.com.au/suggest.
If any of the suggestions meet the following criteria, the submission will be voided (but can be resubmitted with amended recommendations):
- A student who is enrolled at QED Education
- A previously enrolled student at QED Education
- A student who has been previously suggested to QED Education.
$250 OFF (WHEN ENROLLING IN MATHS + ENGLISH): The ‘Maths + English’ promotion is eligible for students who have never been enrolled at QED Education ONLY. Existing or previously enrolled students are ineligible. The discount entitles the student to a discount of $250 off their fees when enrolling in both Maths and English, and will be applied only to the first term of enrollment.
$200 OFF (REFER A FRIEND): The ‘Refer a friend’ program occurs when an existing customer recommends a friend to QED Education who then chooses to enrol. In this instance, both parties are eligible for $200 off their next issued invoice.
Details for confirming: The student being referred will be sent an SMS message to confirm who they were referred by, at which point the discount will be locked in for these two parties.
One referral may only be claimed by one person, two people can not refer the same individual. You may not refer a family member.
$200 OFF (JOIN WITH A FRIEND): The ‘Join with a friend’ program occurs when two new students join QED Education together, and both enrol in one or more subjects. In this instance, both parties are eligible for $200 off their first invoice.
Details for confirming: The student being referred will be sent a SMS message to confirm who they were referred by, at which point the discount will be locked in for these two parties.
One referral may only be claimed by one person, two people can not ‘join with’ the same individual.
You may not claim this promotion if joining with a sibling.
EARLY BIRD/MID TERM/END OF TERM SPECIALS: All early bird / mid term / end of term specials are provided at QED Education’s discretion, and must be claimed within the advertised period.
Parents will be notified via SMS and email when their fees are overdue. Students who are more than two weeks overdue will be sent a letter home stating that they are overdue, and will be prohibited from attending additional classes. Classes where the student was barred from attendance will not be discounted from the invoice.
NOTICE OF DISENROLLMENT
If you are disenrolling from a course at QED Education, you must do so in writing by sending an email to email@example.com or in person at QED Education reception at L1 269 Church St Parramatta. Term fees are still due in full if an enrolled student disenrols from their course(s) during the term, however QED Education management may decide to waive these fees on a case by case basis depending on the circumstances.
CREDITS AND REFUNDS
All payments are non-refundable barring exceptional circumstances. Personal holidays, general sickness or extra curricular activities will not be discounted from invoices. Where applicable and agreed by QED Education, all discounts and promotions will be included on the next issued invoice for the client.
You are expected to behave in a respectable and conscientious manner towards all students and staff as part of your enrolment or trial period at QED Education. If inappropriate behaviour is exhibited and especially if it persists, QED Education reserves the right to cancel your enrolment or trial.
Students at QED Education are expected to attend all of their scheduled lessons as part of their term enrolment, and complete assigned coursework regularly and in a timely manner. While make-up lessons may be available if there is room in another class, this should be a last resort and QED Education cannot guarantee that this will always be possible. It is up to the parent or guardian to contact QED reception by phone or in person to discuss options regarding absenteeism.
You agree that you (and/or your parent or guardian) will not approach QED’s teachers or workshop tutors to provide you with private tutoring services at any time. Note that students are always welcome and encouraged to ask QED’s workshop tutors for help during the defined workshop hours.
You consent to us using advertising (including your name, exam results, videos and photographs) for promotional purposes only. Please contact QED reception if you have any concerns regarding this.
